The embattled Nigerian sensational singer, Tiwa Savage has reportedly lost no fewer than four endorsement deals owing to the leaked s3, x tape that found its way to social media.
Georgina Onuoha, a Nigerian Media Personality who made this disclosure via her official Instagram page share a screenshot of an online report that claimed Tiwa Savage lost some big endorsement deals due to the leaked tape.
Morewills had last week reported that the 41-year-old mother of one trend for days on social media following her s3, x tape escapades.
Tiwa has also been trending for topping the American music chart with one of the songs on her album with American artist, Brandy “somebody” on all social media platforms.
However, there’s news that the companies who signed Tiwa Savage on their products have withdrawn their endorsement deals from the artist after her s3, x tape saga on social media.
According to the report, Tiwa has lost four endorsement deals from Cadbury, a beverage company, Pampers, a diaper company, Glo a network service and one other company.
Reacting to the development, Georgina stated that Tiwa was smart by going public about her being blackmailed. However, her colleagues did her a disservice by applauding her leaked tape through their posts referring to her as a queen.
Using Kim Kardashian as an example, Georgina stated that the US businesswoman and reality star went on an apology tour on every TV and significant talk show in America and issued public apologies to save her brand 15 years ago.
Georgina wrote: “If I were on her PR team, I would suggest a public apology, most of you will say it’s not needed, as her bla bla bla did not le, ak the tape. Still, if you understand PR, you will appreciate that an apology is necessary to her family-oriented fans, she apologies for letting such happen to even get to the media whilst also playing the victim because she is still the victim and then move on.
“Do you know that with all the popularity Kim K has that some brands will never use her as their ambassador? You might say she doesn’t need it but trust me her team wishes those brands will contact her.”
