The Swor:. God’s mystery has continued to remain unresolved by man and this accounts for why many have no option than to be marvelled by his handiworks and remain resolute with him, His mysterious works are scattered all over the world and Africa, as a continent, has its own fair share.

Africa is blessed with several ancient sites and many artefacts which the Europeans have tried to deplete over years, Several of these local wonders have been siphoned in the past, especially when they colonised these societies, and have vehemently refused to return them after independence.

Ghana is home to one of such mysteries of God as it hosts a sword that is partially buried in the ground that no human being has been able to pull out even though it looks pullable.

This site has been visited by numerous eminent personalities including a legendary boxer, Muhammed Ali, He tried to pull it out to no avail. The head of the Commonwealth dynasty, Queen Elizabeth of England was also on a historical visit to the site.

No human being has been able to pull out the sword in over 300 years of discovering the site. However, it is interesting to note that Okomfo Anokye, a Ghanaian priest from Ashanti Empire known as Okomfo. In 1695, was the one that merely pushed the sword to the ground and nobody has been able to pull it out since then.


There is no doubt that the wonders of God abound all over the world including Africa. The continent is equally blessed with its own share of His mystery.

  1. There is no mystery in the sword. Remember it was merely pushed into the soul. The merely suggests that it was not pushed. That sword has a hole in the middle. Through the hole and iron was pushed in to create a wedge. That was after a trench was dug. The sword was buried with the head standing out. Having firmed in the soil, no one can pull it out because of the wedge. It is as simple as that. Those old folks were the fathers of manipulation.
