What to do When Your Man Says he needs Space

When a guy says he wants some space, he truly wants his space.

His mind is clogged by mixed feelings and it’s in infused state.

When your boyfriend says that he needs some space, then he means that he needs some days or weeks alone.

No phone calls, no texts, no dinner dates.

Sometimes when they are in depression, they need some space. It’s totally normal.

Most times, ladies often misunderstand when a man says “he needs time”.

They (women) start having the thoughts of feeling less important.

Most times, they (women) start asking themselves questions like; “is he losing interest in the relationship?”, “does he not love me anymore”?, and so on.

But let’s get into it a little deeper and look at common reasons and scenarios where men need space.

Sometimes, he might be stressed out (due to work, family issues and others), depression and so on.

As a lady, what do you need to do when he says he needs space? Answering the question, below are some subtle actions you need to do whenever you find yourself in a situation like this.

1. Give him the space he needs.

He needs it, that is why he asked for it. Men value respect more than love and respecting his decision of asking you for space is his interpretation of you loving him.

If he goes away then he was never yours in the first place.

For men, take their word for it.

They usually do not send mix signals.

2. Ask them why they need space.

If they are having a problem, strive to know the reason.

If they don’t want to talk about it, let them know you’re there for them when they do and ask if there is something you can do to help, whatever it is.

3. Understand his feelings.

Men love and cherish a lady who understands his feelings, especially when he feels down physically, emotionally and mentally.

When your man tells you to give him space, understand that he might be going through a phase.

Do not disturb him.

He will get back once his mind is clear.

And whatever the outcome is, just respect it.
